About New Life Horsemanship
Rescued. Redeemed. Reconciled.
That’s not just our tagline—it’s our testimony.
At New Life Horsemanship, we believe true transformation starts with connection—real, lasting connection—with Jesus and with our horses. Our unique approach blends biblical truth with practical groundwork, incorporating horses as living metaphors for the Gospel.
We’re not just about teaching horses. We’re about healing hearts, renewing minds, and restoring identity through the miracle of connection. Whether you're a seasoned horse person or new to the barn, if you’ve ever felt burned out by religion, or you know there is more to life, this is your invitation to exhale. There’s more for you. And it’s already been provided.
Here, horses become mirrors, revealing patterns, pain, and possibilities. We teach a grace-based, pressure-sensitive approach that honors the heart of the horse—and the heart of the human. This isn’t horsemanship for show. It’s horsemanship for Life.

About Katy Pistole
Child of God. Founder. Counselor. Storyteller. Disciple
I’m Katy Pistole, and I’m no stranger to brokenness—or the beauty God brings through it.
I’ve been walking with Jesus most of my life, but it wasn’t until I laid down the fear of disappointing Him that I truly encountered His Love. Not the intellectual kind. The kind that breathes Life into dead places. The kind that transforms everything.
With over 20 years as a pastoral counselor and 30 years immersed in equine ministry, I created Equine Assisted Discipleship—a powerful, experiential model that weaves together God's Word, rescued horses, and real-life transformation. I’m also an author, songwriter, teacher, and horse girl to the core.
I’ve watched God rescue women’s hearts. I’ve seen teens hear His voice in a round pen. And I’ve experienced His overwhelming presence while mucking stalls and singing in the barn.
New Life Horsemanship was born out of this journey. It’s a discipleship path that’s as honest as it is holy. A place for humans to stop striving and start abiding. To stop performing and start connecting. To learn to walk in their true identity—not as servants trying to please God, but as children already loved.Â
I’m so glad you’re here.
